  Pagsasaayos ng Pangungusap

  May malaking pagkakaiba ang ayos ng mga salita sa isang pangungusap sa Ingles kompara sa Tagalog. Sa Tagalog, kadalasan ang isang pangungusap ay nakaayos sa ganitong estruktura: "Naglalaro ang bata." kung saan nauuna ang panaguri (predicate) - "naglalaro" - sa simuno (subject) - "ang bata". Sa Ingles ang pagsasalin nito ay: "The child is playing." kung saan nauuna ang simuno (subject) - "the child" - sa panaguri (predicate) - "is playing". Walang itong mga batayang patakaran at natutunan sa paulit-ulit na paggamit.
